I here with invite thy participation with the RPFS Friends of Faire Meet & Greet!

Dost thou have a love for that wonderous experience that is Faire? Here be an opportunity to share that passion with others, participant AND playtron AND patron alike.

Want something to do besides just wearing thy Faire garb as thou walkest the Shire with ale in thy hand all day? Here be a chance to contribute to Faire whilst having fun too.

Dost thou want to help weave the web of Magic that is Faire? To see the smiles of the little girls and boys as you make them Princess and Prince for a moment, to see the smiles of the adults as they realize at Faire live folk ARE the point, not roller coasters?

Didst thou ever want to get more involved in building that living and breathing wonder that is Faire, but were not sure where to start? Not sure how to participate, not just attend?

Then FoF Meet & Greet welcomes thee with open arms, as our mission be the same: to welcome any and all who walketh up to Front Gate.

To be the ambassadors in that slice of land betwixt the mundane and the magical, and to make sure when the visitors to our Shire leave upon the eve, they do so with a smile, remembering what they just experienced.

Actor-at-heart who can spin an entertaining story, or shy peasant who just wants to hand out a map for fear of speaking. All of you, and everyone in between.

Come join us. Come contribute yet another thread to the fabric of Life at Faire.

Meet & Greet is built from thy smiles, thy “good morrow” and “welcome to the shire”, thy friendliness, and thy willingness to share those things because thou dost love Faire. Those be the only skills thou dost require, but those be not the only skills thou whilst leave with.

Whether thou wish to volunteer without many commitments, or want to make a greater commitment to meet the requirements and get gatelisted, there’s a place for thee. The only absolute, non-negotiable requirement is to love Faire, and want to share it.
